The mission of WISE Scholars Foundation is to serve individuals and strengthen communities by promoting postsecondary education and decreasing dropout through college preparatory resources including, but not limited to, assistance with high school completion, academic tutorials, test-taking preparation, career-planning, mentorship, technological resources, assistance with the enrollment in and the expenses of attending college, transitioning from high-school to college, and the incorporation of many sectors, such as the business sector to assist individuals with employment and other stimulating opportunities while attending school.
The purpose for which WISE Scholars Foundation was formed is to operate exclusively for charitable, educational, scientific, and literary purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the Code) and corresponding provisions of subsequent United States Internal Revenue laws.
WISE Scholars Foundation will not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, gender, religion, or race. The Foundation will assist any individual with school completion and postsecondary attainment. However, special attention will be directed towards those individuals considered at-risk or socioeconomically disadvantaged.
WISE Scholars Foundation will operate under the values that education is important and that all students can learn given the appropriate resources and mentorship opportunities.
WISE Scholars Foundation believes that early educational motivation is pertinent to postsecondary attainment. Furthermore, we believe that it benefits smaller communities and the larger society by eliminating many of the ricocheting factors often attributed to a lack of postsecondary education, such as unemployment, crime, and poverty.
